This Design-Build, 220,000 SF, pre-engineered metal maintenance hangar, with structural steel frame and concrete pier foundation, features a massive crane with 275’ bridge, 230’ travel and 28’ hook height. The scope of work included a 429,000 SF parking apron, wash pad and taxiway, 5 miles of 16-inch domestic water line and a 500,000-gallon elevated water tank with pump station. Security features include an entrance control point, anti-terrorism/force protection measures and building information and intrusion detection systems.
