LEED Rating: LEED for Commercial Interiors Gold Certification Engberg Anderson Design Partnership hired Hunzinger Construction to construct their new corporate office in downtown Milwaukee. The 18,000 square foot office occupies the fifth floor of the renovated 1922 industrial building known as the Dye House Building in Milwaukee's 3rd Ward. The new office space consists of drafting, interior design, modeling and accounting areas, as well as private offices and conference rooms. The office showcases expansive views through the space and out to the surrounding cityscape. Sustainable Aspects Include: 1) C&D waste diversion >75% 2) Extensive natural daylighting 3) Energy efficient Chiller/HVAC system and increased ventilation 30% above ASHRAE 90.1 2004 standards 4) Under-floor air distribution 5) 47% reduction in water consumption over the 1992 federal standards due to low-flow plumbing and waterless urinals 6) Sustainable products and finishes. 7) 100% of energy purchased from renewable sources 8) City steam for hydronic heat uses waste steam from local power plant
