Wilhelm Construction performed concrete and general trades work on this $2.7 million, five-level, 7,1000-car parking structure. It is the main parking facility for the Indianapolis International Airport terminal, gates and grounds. Each level of the structure measures 12 acres, for a total of 60 acres of concrete surface. The state-of-the-art parking structure includes moving walkways to take travelers down a central atrium to the airport terminal's ticketing hall. To meet the project schedule, Wilhelm averaged more than two supported slab pours per week. This was achieved through all weather conditional and all four seasons. The entire structure was poured in 15 months.
