Hunzinger Construction Company served as the Construction Manager for two assisted living facilities for the Bayside Senior Housing Project. These state-of-the-art buildings are located on a five-acre site. The Alterra Clare Bridge of Bayside is a 46-room (52-bed) 32,000 sf memory care residence specifically designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. It is a single story building featuring four enclosed exterior courtyards and a central interior “Town Square.” The Wynwood building is a 66 room (78 bed), 45,000 square foot structure. Since most of the residents are not allowed outside of the facility, the “Town Square” enables them to have a sense of community that is safe and secure. Like the center of any small village, this is a meeting place for residents to sit and relax and enjoy some time with their friends and family. It contains a general store, sweet shoppe and hair salon. Both of these facilities feature high-end finishes and an incredible variety of interior and exterior spaces.
