Norwood

Working with owner/developer, Poag & McEwen, Norwood served as both program manager and construction manager on this “Main Street” lifestyle center. Early in the planning process, Norwood provided valuable preconstruction insight by presenting design and construction solutions representing a potential savings of several million dollars in development costs. Located at the Stabler Center, a 1,700-acre mixed-use development, The Promenade Shops consist of seven individual retail buildings totaling 390,000 SF; an 85,000 SF theater; and a town square that houses a coffee shop, gazebo, interactive fountain, and stadium seating area. Norwood also delivered anchor store Fresh Market and served as general contractor for retail build-outs for Brooklyn Bagel & Deli, Kitchen Kapers, Francesca's Collection, Nautica, New Balance, Bellini's, Sprint, Paws to Tail, and others. The lifestyle center’s unique blend of national retailers, specialty boutiques, and restaurants is accompanied by acres of parking and a phenomenal outdoor setting.
