Norwood

Norwood served as design/builder for a 700,000 SF warehouse facility and a 60,000 SF, two-story corporate headquarters for A.C. Moore, an arts and crafts retailer. The warehouse features 120,000 SF of superflat floor in a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) area to support the racking system, 67 loading docks with a drive-in ramp, inbound office, trucker lounge, and receiving offices.The facility also includes a 1,600 SF computer room and a disaster-recovery building serving as a backup to the main computer room. As part of the project, Norwood constructed A.C. Moore Drive, which provides access to the new facility and the rest of the business park.
