Nederland, CO
The Nederland Community Center was a 26,181 square foot renovation of an existing facility that had been built in three phases dating back to the late 1800's. Renovations began with the design and replacement of the gym roof, which collapsed during a snow storm, and continued throughout the facility to allow for utilization by the community for multiple and varying functions throughout the year. Since this project was a Design/Build delivery method, Alliance was involved from the very start of the project assisting with design concepts, component decisions, MEP system determinations, and construction methodologies. The building was awarded a LEED Gold status from the USGBC.
