Hunzinger completed the new 126,000 square foot South Tower addition at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee. The 6-story, state-of-the art addition serves as a specialized medical center to enhance women and family services. The complex, multi-functional interior of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center South Tower allowed for the expansion of obstetric, neonatal, perinatal and pediatric units and outpatient services. The entire south tower was constructed while the rest of the hospital remained fully functional. Additionally, Hunzinger completed the 41-ton, two-level, 220-foot long skywalk bridge that connects the southwest corner of the South Tower addition to the existing parking structure located on 51st Street.
