The McKee Cancer Center facility offers 13,000 square feet of medical speciality space for McKee Medical Center and Banner Health Systems. This facility serves as a local center for medical oncology (chemotherapy) and radiation cancer treatment. In addition to providing the most technologically advance treatment for cancers of all types, the aesthetic values of the design, materials and landscape were created to provide an environment more conducive to healing mortal diseases. Some of the innovative processes and technologies include special shaded “radius” walls and thickened walls at the linear accelerator.
