Snyder Langston provided general contracting services for the 360,000 s.f. open-air Marq-E Houston Entertainment Center. Modeled after Southern California’s acclaimed Irvine Spectrum Entertainment Center, also constructed by Snyder Langston, the 43-acre site includes 200,000 s.f. of restaurants and retail shops. Centerpiece to the project is a 22-screen Edwards Theater mega-plex with an I-MAX theater. The theaters include stadium-style seating and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. Water fountains and other special effects reinforce the modernistic architectural design.
