Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc.

North East Independent School District selected Satterfield & Pontikes Construction to build a new elementary school to meet the rapid growth occurring in the district. The two-story school
is constructed on a steep-graded site with classroom capacity for 1,000 students and a core facility capable of supporting 1,200 students.

Cibolo Green Elementary School is North East ISD’s first LEED Gold school. S&P built the environmentally friendly and energy efficient school to meet LEED standards that included improved air quality systems, the use of recycled and non-toxic building materials, and energy-saving systems. Custom LEED-regulated lighting is located throughout the building.

The state-of-the-art school offers students an upbeat, inviting environment with nine different wall colors, corridor flooring with multi-colored themes, and increased natural light that bathes the atrium, common areas, cafeteria, library and classrooms. The school also provides separate 3,550 SF boys’ and girls’ gymnasiums.
