A major U.S.-based energy company selected Satterfield & Pontikes Construction to lead the construction of a new administration building at the company’s Garyville location. Part of the $3.9-billion Garyville major expansion, the building is a state-of-the-art office complex complementing the newest, most advanced refinery in the United States.

• The two-story structure features a steel frame and brick façade
• The building houses the new Emergency Operations Center, a state-of-the-art facility coordinating security and emergency operations response both internally and with outside agencies
• The building serves as the new headquarters for the administration and staff
• S&P closely coordinated its scheduling with the Owner and other contractors working on other projects at the facility to reduce disruption. The S&P team also led weekly meetings with the owner and other members of the project team to keep all sides in close coordination
