The CUNA Mutual Group Office interior office renovation consisted of three occupied office buildings with underground parking totaling nearly 1,000,000 square feet. Scope included the demolition of existing interior finishes, construction of new private offices, conference rooms, executive suites, open office areas, kitchen & cafeteria, along with mechanical and electrical upgrades. The CUNA Mutual team successfully addressed the major infrastructure improvements, dramatically reduced energy use, and reduced operation costs throughout the campus. The most significant hurdle this project presented was how to seamlessly transition operations and employees while not impeding their performance or compromising their comfort. Hunzinger was able to facilitate a smooth transition by developing a well-planned and details construction schedule.
