Norwood served as Construction Manager on this conversion project, completely renovating this historic movie house into an award-winning, 450-seat, performing arts theater. The project included the renovation of a storage room into a fully functional practice room with rubber dance floors and sound attenuation. The restrooms were upgraded with the addition of new private facilities on each floor. Norwood renovated the facility’s finishes with new paint, carpet, lighting and wood flooring. A new HVAC system was installed along with infrastructure for an elaborate sound system. Norwood completed the renovations while the theater remained fully operational and cleaned up all signs of construction on a daily basis to keep the shows running on schedule.
