Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc.

Pearland ISD awarded Satterfi eld & Pontikes Construction, Inc. the contract to build the District’s second high school. Accommodating up to 2,650 students, the school exhibits compelling design and construction details rarely present in an educational facility. The school helps Pearland ISD relieve overcrowding in one of Texas’ fastest-growing student populations.

Project details:
• Three-story, 380,000 SF facility
• Three diff erent kinds of roofing
• Full-sized, 950-seat auditorium with orchestra pit and $1 million in
professional-grade lighting and sound equipment
• Spacious cafeteria/commons area
• Competition-ready football, baseball, soccer, tennis, and track & field
facilities
• Full-sized gymnasium with home and visitor locker rooms
• Complete athletic training facilities, including weight room
• Four-pump storm pumping station will move storm water into five acre
onsite retention pond
• Fully equipped culinary arts space with adjacent cafe
