Norwood Completes Transformation of CrossPoint at Valley Forge

Norwood served as construction manager for the comprehensive redevelopment and expansion of the office complex now known as CrossPoint at Valley Forge in Wayne, PA. Partnering with multiple stakeholders, the project team transformed two out-of-date office buildings into one contiguous, fully modernized corporate center by connecting them with a dramatic all-glass atrium lobby. The new 275,000 SF building was also re-skinned with a glass and precast concrete façade and upgraded with new HVAC systems, new elevators, and all new common area finishes. The expansive amenities center includes a full-service cafe, off-hours coffee bar, conference center, fully-equipped fitness center and common area seating. Covered executive parking adds convenience and a beautifully landscaped courtyard creates a park-like setting. CrossPoint is anchored by lead tenant Teleflex Inc., a publicly-traded global medical device company. Teleflex’s new 85,000 SF Global Headquarters was constructed to consolidate operations for 160 regional employees and take advantage of the facility’s optimal location, visibility and first-rate amenities. The project team is pursuing LEED Gold certification.
